Switchboard (“we”, “us”, “our”) provides an AI-powered business operations platform. This policy explains how we handle your data when you use our services.

2. Data We Collect

• Account data: Name, email address, company name (via Google OAuth)
• Business data: Receipts, invoices, call logs, appointments, documents you upload
• Usage data: Feature usage, error logs, performance metrics
• Communication data: Messages and conversations processed through our AI agents

3. How We Use Your Data

• Provide and improve the Switchboard platform and AI agents
• Process receipts, analyse documents, and manage business data on your behalf
• Send transactional emails (billing receipts, appointment reminders)
• Monitor platform health and fix errors

Legal basis (GDPR): Contract performance (Art. 6(1)(b)) for core features; Legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)) for security and fraud prevention.

4. Data Sharing & Sub-processors

5. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. Upon cancellation, account data is retained for 30 days then deleted. You may request immediate deletion by contacting us at privacy@switchboard.ai.

6. Your Rights (GDPR / DPDP)

• Access: Request a copy of all data we hold about you
• Erasure: Request deletion of your account and associated data
• Portability: Export your data in machine-readable format
• Rectification: Correct inaccurate data
• Objection: Object to processing based on legitimate interests

7. Security

We use TLS 1.3 in transit, AES-256 at rest for sensitive credentials, and follow security best practices including regular dependency audits. Report security issues to security@switchboard.ai.
